NATALIE MARINO graduated from New York University and completed two years of graduate work at the New
School For Social Research before receiving her Master of Academic Art from the Academe of Bedriasense in Calvatone,
Italy. She is an award winning fine artist who has exhibited widely in museums, corporations and galleries. She is listed
in "Who's Who In American Art", Rimeco's Catalogue of International Living Artists. She has illustrated
several story books and has hosted a televised cablecast show about the arts. She presently lives and works in her New
Jersey Studio. She has developed a wide ranging number of genres in various media . Her art has an inspiring beauty
that draws from a variety of influences, including Old World, historical references, and natural elements . She has
been influenced by such varied artists as Boticelli, Egon Shiele, and the French Impressionists. She met Alice Neel in 1981
when Neel was in her eighties. Marino was struck not only by the art of Neel but by the artists strong feminine character.
When asked which is her favorite media, Marino responds with a soft smile , " the dust from a butterfly's wing"
she states. Indeed her work is as memorable as it is subtle. Marino has won many grants and has worked with youth in
